About Bridges of Harmony

A Women's A Cappella Chorus in Jacksonville, FL

Bridges of Harmony Chorus began January 2017 with a core group of Sweet Adelines singers who were passionate about singing women’s four-part a cappella, barbershop style harmony. We strive for excellence in all aspects of our performances and we look forward to entertaining audiences as well as achieving high levels in Sweet Adelines competitions. Visitors and interested prospective new members are welcome any time. Our membership ranges from age 13 to 80+.  Come sing with us!

Chorus rehearsals are Tuesday nights @ 7:00pm at Murray Hill United Methodist Church.  The address is 4101 College Street, Jacksonville, FL 32205.

Whatever the range of your voice, there is a singing part for you. Our repertoire includes special arrangements of today's ballads and upbeat songs, popular show tunes, and even jazz. Singing the satisfying sounds of barbershop harmony provides a rich and rewarding experience.

Bridges of Harmony Chorus was founded on inclusiveness and with the belief that all members will be provided a loving and safe musical environment regardless of race, religion, sexual orientation, age or economic background.  We denounce racism, bigotry, and prejudice in any form.  We promote musical education in the barbershop style, friendship, love, joy and harmony.  We will continue to practice inclusion and tolerance in all we do.

Our Mission:

Bridges of Harmony Chorus is a diverse group of passionate female singers committed to vocal excellence. Our mission is to share with all women our love of the a cappella barbershop style, musical education, friendships, our performance in Sweet Adelines competitions, and community service.
