2023 Midsized Chorus Champions Qualifies for International Contest

Daytona Beach, Florida, May 2023 Bridges of Harmony was crowned Midsized Chorus Champions of Sweet Adelines International, Coastal Harmony division.  This achievement qualifies the chorus to participate in the 2024 International contest in Kansas City, MO sponsored by Sweet Adelines International.  Additionally the chorus was second place overall in Coastal Harmony Region 9 standings.  "I couldn't be more proud of this amazingly talented group of women.  We have worked hard over the past year to improve our craft in preparation for this competition" said Musical Director Kim Higdon. The overall chorus score was at a level to confer the "Master Director" distinction  to Kim  in recognition of her skills.

 

Jacksonville Porchfest 2022

BOH enjoyed our first major foray into the outdoor Festival venues with the annual Jacksonville Porchfest 2022, which is one of the largest music festivals in Jacksonville.  Classic Charm quartet "charmed" festival goers with song while telling them about the Bridges of Harmony Chorus and membership, performance, and sponsorship opportunities.

International Education Symposium 2022

Bridges of Harmony Chorus Director, Kim Higdon, was honored to receive a directors scholarship to the International Education Symposium 2022 by Sweet Adelines, Inc.

Small and Midsized Chorus Directors Scholarships

Sweet Adelines International is proud to announce the first-ever recipients of the Sweet Adelines International Small and Midsized Chorus Directors Scholarships.

Thanks to donations from our members, the scholarships assist these hard-working directors in attending Sweet Adelines education programs such as the International Education Symposium (IES).
